Meet Kev
Started with one car and a lot of opinions about how it should be done.
Kev’s Mobile Detailing runs out of Cavan Town and covers the border counties. What started as weekends spent getting my own car right turned into a proper trade once people started asking who’d done it.
The approach hasn’t changed much since. Take the time the job actually needs, use products that earn their place, and tell people the truth about what can and can’t be fixed — even when that means talking someone out of the more expensive option.

How we work
Three things we won’t do.
Rush the job
A proper detail takes hours. If we can’t give your car the time it needs on a given day, we’ll move it rather than cut corners you’ll notice later.
Oversell you
If a €200 service will do what you need, we’ll tell you that instead of pushing the €500 one. Repeat customers matter more than one big invoice.
Promise the impossible
Some scratches are through the clear coat. Some stains are set. We’ll say so upfront rather than take your money and hope.

Good to know.
An outdoor tap and a standard socket make things easiest, and most driveways have both. If yours doesn’t, mention it when booking — we can usually work around it.
Light rain is manageable for most work. Heavy or persistent rain means we reschedule rather than rush a job you’re paying good money for. No charge for a weather reschedule.
Not at all. Plenty of customers leave a key and head to work. We’ll send photos when the job is finished.
Cash, card or bank transfer on completion. For fleet and commercial work we can invoice on agreed terms.
We walk the car with you before we leave, so anything missed gets sorted there and then. If something comes to light afterwards, get in touch and we’ll come back and put it right.
